When it was easy to donate. (I did via paypal, then it got harder) You could claim a badge display.

Any of that coming back ?
I read through the donate message. I am glad the partners and sponsors are covering the nut.
Will there be an easy way to donate something again ? In a small way.

Some people contribute by posting, the manga. Some people are contributing even more by hosting MD@home nodes.
A lot of people can do neither. Just my thoughts on the matter.

Personally I don't even care about the badge displays, I've just been wanting to donate money to this site because its genuinely really good and is much higher quality than any other manga reading site, official or not. This kind of effort deserves some hard-earned money.

The badges was just a perk, and to show who supports. Since affiliates and such help support MD now. There is no push to setup a donate page. It would safe to assume MD, has to be the largest "non-hentai" manga poster/downloader site out there. IMHO, less hentai "one shots" showing up in the recently added section would be nice.

You can control the hentai by just turning off hentai in your user settings. The reason you'll see a lot of hentai in the recently added manga section but not the recently uploaded section is that most hentai exist as oneshots.

I know the setting can be turned off, I turned it on to see whats being posted. Since the rate of posting is low in "Recently add" I am not overly concerned. I just don't want to see MD turned into a Hitomi.la mirror site. As vast as MD@Home is, I am sure a lot of hosts would not like hosting a high percentage of hentai. It is there bandwidth being donated. Unless there is a hosting switch saying no hentai accepted.

MD@H hosts are completely aware they're potentially hosting pornography/other offensive material.
