This manga continues to wow me. One moment you think you know how you feel about a character, but of course there is more to them than you realize. What a beautiful and complicated world.

Man, knowing what we know now about the killer, seeing him in the background of shots or scenes is fucking terrifying.

Looking forward to the big battle against Tem's killer. Surprised they gave him such a complex backstory on the murder.

this series seriously left me in awe... such an amazing series.... now i understand how this get soo many awards... however, there is really noticable flaw that has been bothered me a lot as far as the chapter i binge read since the beginning (80)... the character relationship is very superficial and shallow... such a wasted potential considering characterization and character development is perfection.... i rate this series 10/10, but because of that, it's 9/10.... i wouldn't complain about it if this story driven stories, but soo far, it's character driven series... maybe i am just nitpicking (since the main reason i said that is haru and legosi relationship since it's most often showed up, but i noticed lot of it does too, like juno, louis, and that tiger), but i can't really bring my self to care about character relationship and the drama around it...

A good and dark coming of age story that makes full use of the different aspects of its characters and anthropomorphic animals.

There isn't much to say that I didn't say over on Batoto, so can just recommend you read it.

Holy shiiit.
Legosi's gramps is a KOMODO DRAGON ablughwah?! Wow. I did not see that coming. Bless. These chapters keep coming so strong, the moment when they were fighting and all that with his grandpa went through his head was so melancholic too.

Wrote a review on this, here it is:
https://terrenceswiff.wordpress.com/2017/08/29/beastars/

I was recommended to read this during the arc with the lions, so that actually had me put off writing about it for a while. While I liked that arc for the most part, I saw a lot of people disliking it and couldn't blame them. I wanted to see how the series would look once all the chaos had settled down. Barring that arc, I believe most would agree this is a very good, dark and slow moving series with some incredibly stand-out characters. This manga is definitely worth a read.
