Man, all the fucks in this chapter is really distracting.
That word was only used 4 times the whole chapter. Tōjurō is a teenager, kind of a rebellious one at that. He’s got the hairstyle to prove it. IRL teenagers street talk like this in EN. I understand some of you feel the curse words make him sound a little immature, but that’s kind of the point. He still likes to collect, and sleep with stuffed toys. He’s not really a “people” person. His inexperience with girls causes him to get swooned easily by Behemoth time & time again. He still has an innocent side to him that Hóng Shé wants to badly corrupt…
Beta Tōjurō didn’t seem to share this personality trait at all. Not only did he appear to be an adult, but he seemed to have a more approachable & mature personality. They clearly wanted teenage Tōjurō to be the complete opposite.
I’m just trying to stay true to Tōjurō’s personality in EN.
