I really like that Peaksidro is beginning to know how he can help, and is also taking more of a commanding role. If this was the same Isidro who ran out of the tavern after his pride was shot because he was the weakest in the group, or the same Isidro who ran into the cult's cave hucking rocks, he would have either dove into the water after Isma and needed to get his ass saved, or sat pouting on deck because he was frustrated he couldn't do anything to help.
This Isidro immediately knows that his skillset doesn't mesh well with the current fight, so is instead taking a more strategic role by pushing Roderick to get his shit together and lay down supporting fire.
I hope my boy gets some more upgrades soon. His skillset is very much so a Jack-of-all-trades, but that's working to his detriment for the most part because he's effectively surrounded by specialists that do whatever it is he's trying to do better. Close-range skirmisher? Guts has him beat by miles. Mobile harrassment that helps soften up the enemy for the main force? Serpeako's got that covered. Ranged support? While his throwing arm is god-tier and makes him a veritable sniper all on its own, he's currently just hucking small bombs that absolutely fold to the destructive power of Schierke's spellcasting. At the moment, he shines best when a member of the group is busy or incapacitated, and he can fill in their role for them. And don't get me wrong, that's an invaluable tool to have, but I do kinda wish my boy got some situations where he was bar none the best pick for a particular fight
