it's also been a while since i reread the entire thing so i might get some details wrong:
i hate how everyone's arguing over if it's BL.
the genre isn't romance, at all... all it features a boy trying to find his way with art and the people he meets along the way. so what if there's a bi (crossdressing) boy? it's representation. don't know why everyone's so pressed over that one guy. he can dress in whatever tf he wants, okay?
this story is really a piece of art itself, it's one of the first mangas I've seen that openly remarks a person as bi. Like, not just bromance on a different level, this seriously states it (albeit in passing). basically everything in this is, aha *chefs kiss.* really beautiful and stunningly written.
This is one of my favorite mangas, i'm so glad the rating is high so more people can find out about this gem.
