That's a jolly 180 degrees personality change for Kishi. First he wanted those two to break up because he couldn't accept someone else being in a happy relationship when he couldn't have one himself. But now he's suddenly supporting them. I guess in a romcom such an abrupt personality change for a supporting character is okay.
