Best answer, if he wants to be actually considerate, is to ask if there's anything in the fridge that expires soon so they need to eat it before it goes bad. You always need to buy more eventually, but if you never consider what you already have you're going to waste food.

Definitely. It enforces how he thinks she's above him, which is the opposite of what they need. Equal relationships work the best for both involved. Well, there are exceptions, but I don't think either of these two belong to those personality types.

Also he really needs to stop listening to that coworker's advice. At this point she's just messing with him to take out her own frustration for her love life lol.

Yeah, she's a little bit toxic. Teasing is one thing, but she's making him genuinely anxious.
