I'm sorry (not really) but if the author keeps up lesbo friend's bitchy attitude I honestly doubt there'll be any hope of making her likable cuz there's only so much irrational hatred you can have for someone you openly admit helped save the life of your crush but curse them despite you being complacent in your childhood friend role and actively ruining her own chance at happiness by keeping the identity a secret.

None of these characters are likable. He's an idiot, Fuwa is a bitch, Suzukaze is a weirdo/lunatic, and the male "friend" every creepy/cringey "lolz popular guys, amirite?" trope crammed into one package.

I also feel like we've also already set up the obvious resolution of Fuwa's "crush" being that whole Japanese "romantic two-girl friendship" trope where what she has isn't really romantic love but respect/admiration that masquerades as love. And right around the time the other two might be nudging together she's going to realize that she actually likes the MC back so we can keep the harem hijinx going.

I do like the characters, but I agree with your analysis in the second paragraph.
