I read it as their ultimate weapon didn't work as intended, and this was the consequence. So, the empire used their ultimate weapons on themselves?
either what some really cool guy said, or traitor events happened. Either way he really did lose everything. His manhood, his humanity, his home, his manhood...So, the empire used their ultimate weapons on themselves? What preceded that? Did they unleash a virus that kept turning people into monsters, lost the conventional battle against it, and thus they decided to put a stop to it this way? That would explain why the former empire's land is still full of monsters, yet no people live there anymore, all the towns having been reduced to scorched ruins or worse.
I can already see how the other people would react.I think mc should carry a chalkboard so he can write to communicate. If other people don't speak the same language, he can play charades
tbh his legs look kinda like the boots from portalHis stick legs feel out of place. The rest of his body is this huge hulking mass then he has those bird or insect legs at the bottom of massive thighs. He should be sinking into the ground with those things since unlike a bird he is supporting a lot of weight relative to the size of the contact points.
Now that he has seen the capital of the empire to have been destroyed, he should try to return to the elves and actually make contact since he figured they would be the most welcoming. Depending on the lifespan in this story there may even be some elves alive that can read the empires language so he could communicate.
