Many Thanks for the new chapter @nakimov; Though there is a considerable oversight: on Page 7, it looks like you cleaned the text box of Fuwa's weight but forgot to typeset the (presumably) converted to lbs./pounds weight number in it. Or perhaps you meant to keep the weight number in kilograms with a TN asterisk appended to it and just cleaned the text box without a second thought? Edit:This has been rectified. Many Thanks @nakimov .

Also, the Ground and Pound Fuwa did to Setsuna in this chapter would have done Mark Coleman and Mark Kerr proud.

I'm sure the mods will direct you to the street thug leader getting sucked off and the explict dream sex sequence in chapter 1.

Next time she'll come dressed in grenades "I will win no matter what so anyway if you punch me we both explode so might as well stay still while I beat you to a pulp."

Of course there's a pile of nerds in the comments who are faced with their eternal manga enemy: actually fucking reading the manga.

Her initial point is that all of this is "sports", his argument is that his weight class is the biggest so he's "serious".

All of this is just a belated way of making a point: he's still playing a sport because it's a ritual, there's rules he has to follow. She can bite his balls off or pull a knife and stab him in the kidney. She's not trying to show him she can win in an MMA match, she's showing that none of this is a real fight.
An extremely neutered version of what people have already taken to its logical conclusion with guns and a disregard for jail sentences IRL. Riveting!!

It continues to be a one-sided fight as MMA champ is beating Rikudou up severely. A single punch caused Rikudou to be hurled back to the clock. I think some of the spectators are worried about her safety.

At the last second, MMA champ appears to knock Rikudou out.

However, as MMA champ turn his back around, Rikudou rose up like a demon out of hell, and got on the MMA champ's back.

The chapter ends with MMA champ standing stunned with Rikudou holding him in a rear naked choke.

She looks like she legit wants to kill him.

I have to admit, I can see how for some people this is enough to earn it. I think its clonwery dowsed in hotdog water because just like Kakegurui, there is a laundry list of ways this could become actually interesting. In Kakegarui, The entire thing would work 10000x better if the bitch was actually cheating and outmaneuvering everyone. "Shes lucky L bozo lol" is insipid nonsense, a moron with zero cunning but infinite plot armor is a million times less thrilling than a character that can just make it happen through their own actions and will. Its essentially the same here even though it is obviously trying to be better than that.
The approach here in this work with the female lead would have been enough to sell the concept in Kakegurui beautifully, but its not enough for a street fighting psychological thriller.
But of course, plenty of people drool over Kakegurui without a hint of awareness, and so naturally this will be mostly the same.

In the first image, she obviously adjusts the time. When translating the second image, MMA guy says that time passed faster than usual.
I mean, fair play to her for using everything possible to win. I guess MMA guy might quit because he lost abiding to the rules. MC should still train with him though. The tactics she used will never work for him lol.

That would be nice if that happened. I think MC still needs to learn the fundamentals of fighting which Rikudou is refusing to do. Unless she wants him to learn the basics by beating up anyone who gets in his way by any means.

Perfect summary of why i found myself just liking Kaede Manyuda WAY more initially and wish the lead was someone with a mentality similar to him. It’s way more interesting watching someone try to piece together the puzzle that becomes the foundation for the victory rather than . . . Plot Armor disguised as luck

I’m not saying luck can’t work in a gambling storyline. That’s literally something you can’t write a gambling story without bringing up at least once! However, it shouldn’t be treated as a get out of jail free card for the MC IMO

Could not agree more. No matter how much mental gymnastics you try to play here there’s objectively no reason why he shouldn’t learn from a guy who was basically bitch slapping around the girl who is supposed to be his teacher for several minutes straight.
