Not really. He just looks less generic. Like, literally the only thing keeping skinny Slow from being "Generic Manga Protagonist #12,945" is the white patch at the front; instead, he looks like "Generic Manga Protagonist #853".

Pretty sure the "ghost" is the isekai'd person that took over Slow's body. Whereas the one we saw talking to him was his soul before he got replaced by the isekai'd person's.

Wow, I know it is plot armor, but I love how it was woven in. Not many do you see the new spirit and OG spirit converse like this and be open and honest. Let alone understand what must be done and not be upset about losing the body. He understands the changes were needed and he just didn't have the want to do it. Though it seems like a cheat, I actually liked how it was done.

The power of DETERMINATION! Which is normally lamer than the power of friendship or love or whatever, but here it kinda works better with the isekai angle. Still lame, though.

i mean yeah that's why he looks better fat to me, because it's just better character design when your character is immediately recognized by the silhouette regardless whether you find the character hot or not

unless the point is to make a generic looking protagonist all along
