Damn, that’s another that has concluded. I feel this one could have gone on for a bit longer given all the powers and world building, but it never truly got there with stability. Just fighting one enemy after the next. All they have to do is keep reviving different historical figures and it would have made for such interesting looks at the world.

Tenebris coming out of nowhere kind of felt insane as a plot device.

Thank god this is finally over, Thank you Author for this.. manga. As others have stated above this manga has its ups and downs, and has most likely stayed from the original plot. Personally, I've been lost for awhile since most the chapters are missing + the hiatus in between each chapter. In the end, we can finally drag this manga out back, behind the shed, and give it the shotgun treatment(completed status). Here's to you, Author!

Tenebris coming out of nowhere kind of felt insane as a plot device.

I don't quite feel like she came completely out of nowhere.
The question of how the Demon Lord and her team got killed in the first place was pending for quite a while. Particularly with a hidden trump card like Faris.

However, I can agree that she got introduced pretty abruptly and her background introduced unexpectedly pointless cruelty on the Maou's side.
Until then, she seemed like the kind to trample mercilessly on any opposition, but very much not the kind to get out of her way to slaughter random innocent villagers. Even more so in the name of "training" when commoners clearly posed no challenge at all.
This last part felt inconsistent with the rest of the story so far, but that's my only major criticism.

the last volume was poopy hahaha, last arc plus that filled like one, the fight with his ex teammates was the highest part of the series ngl, but the fight with the other demon lords was interesting, specially when they kidnapped the MC so losing the free revive and seeing how some of the girls feeling awful at not helping him atm was great.
Series wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst at all, had a super interesting premise though.

ps: hinting the ending with Rosé is a big plus hahaha, poor necromancer lady :c
