And how often have official translations sucked compared to the fan translation that preceeded the official translation?
I won't argue that Llinger is the official translation, but the Mangadex fan translations have used Lyngle since 2018, four years prior to the official English release of LN Vol 1, and only started using Llinger randomly in this arc when Koppisekai and then Shit Scans took over three months ago (aka. 3 years after the official English translation).
I'm just pointing out that when you have 7 years of translations that people are used to, swapping the names of everything to match the official translation for no logical reason is annoying.
You should see the crap they pull in official manga translations. I've seen some shit at the bookstore... They sometimes put as little effort in as possible to get paid as fast as possible, and not even easy SFX are touched...
I'm all for consistency, but when there's an official translation, it's best to be consistent with that, because there will inevitably be comments about the difference. No winning there, I suppose 🤷‍♂️

The demons not being a pure evil race has been hinted at since a very long time ago. Especially after all that interaction with Felm. I’m not sure what you were expecting. We’ve already established that demons think and act like normal people, and there’s nothing explicitly preventing them from coexisting with humans. You think Usato will just go and murder all of them?
Not all, but only the demon king, as it's their ticket back to earth. But now I don't see it happening at all. It's like the point I said, whether the author will pull through till the end or not with this kind of idea.

Yeah, because you're reading the manga where the main character never kills, yet you're expecting it to end in genocide.
NPC-ass black and white view of the world.
His two other friends are the one doing the killing though? His job is the healer after all.

You're forgetting a few things. Of the three who were summoned, two of them (Usato and the girl) have already expressed that they're not sure if they even want to go back home. Usato has his family, but he was just kind of coasting through life where now he feels he has a purpose and the girl always felt like an outsider on Earth anyway and finally feels free. So, even if they lose their ticket back to Earth, they probably won't care too much. The other boy, I don't think ever expressly stated he wants to stay, but he's making connections with people and there's no guarantee that he won't be able to return via some other method.

Additionally, just because a conflict doesn't end in genocide, doesn't mean the author failed to write a good plot. In fact, the realization that the demons are just another race, and that Felm wasn't an exceptional case, opens up the moral battle of "these are just people like me, they're not fighting us because they hate us. They're fighting us to protect what's behind them."

Finally, we've already seen that the author will kill off people on both sides, so death is still a threat.

Levelheaded enemy who is laidback.. not too aggressive or arrogant. even shows respect to his enemies.
whoa. sure he did attack them but he only did it to make him to fight. finally a worthy villain.
And on top of that, totally reasonable. “I dont wanna fight” “yea no that makes a lot of sense. Id feel the same way”. I love this guy

i wonder what this guy's dark magic will do, return injuries like the other girl? or something else?
From how its structure resembles muscle I’m assuming its going to be a physical enhancement maybe high durability, and the way the guy could shoot blades or tendrils or whatever he used to attack there that they’re also going to probably be a function of the armour

Since when was Usato apart of the "Llinger Kingdom Healing Squad"? I thought he was summoned to the Lyngle Kingdom?

At least the other names, like Arc and Nea, didn't get picked at random this chapter and are consistent with previous chapters
After Soseki went down, the previous uploader used official TL names (which are also used in anime). I don't have the permission to edit his chapters.
List the name inconsistencies. I'll see what I can do.

None in this chapter aside from Llinger instead of Lyngle. But a few previous chapters had Bluerin called "Blue Grizzly" directly instead of "the Blue Grizzly" and Arc called "Aruk" and "Aruku" in the same chapter

I can only edit Ch 83.2 and 84. There were no inconsistencies. Arc, Llinger and Blurin will stay consistent.
