Low-key getting tired of this Tom and Jerry ahh skit.

Ah yes, "I'm gonna lower my guard around these obvious enemies of mine that have done bad thing to the person I love even tho I'm an experienced fighter at this point" move.

He was safe because the guards were supposed to be his allies, and he was very shocked when he saw the weapon's and witch's ability. Also, all of his battle involves either a surprise attack, long range weapon or high-altitude bombing. He has never involved in a close range battle where he was the one being surprised.

Yeah, I was hella surprised he just asked in there to talk with just the two of them. Then it immediately but then in the ass, or in this case the back, with a whole chair 🙄. I know that has to have broken a rib or two.

Like if you're going to be overprotective of Ana then do that cause this was somewhat reckless.

• Antagonists, despite having pulled off a perfect surprise attack, and despite having numbers on their side, don't immediately take the final step of killing the protagonists.
• Then opponents separate (going from a 5 v 2, to a 1 v 2), to kill the protagonist. (And the 1 is a meathead.)
• And then the meathead monologues rather than kill protagonists immediately.
• And then the FML, trained in weaponry and fighting from an early age, just plaintively yells her lovers name instead of using any combat techniques. (Keep in mind that she's been trained in fighting for a long time -- and that would have included close combat w/o a sword. And even if she's lighter, she can still try leg sweeps, knee breaks, or just a rush.)

Well, Ana is still weak from the time she was unconscious, so I can give the author some slack on that part.

I get that but why would you do your interrogations with all the culprits in the same room at the same time, your not going to get any truth or good info. One at a time makes way more sense but plot has to plot and make this weird contrived "we can talk this out" scenario, they have tried to kill you multiple times now and you only want them to broker peace. I'm not seeing a reason to talk to all of them at once or even keep them in the same prison, the prisoners dilemma hase been used for centuries to break honor among thieves

That fight loss is so fucking contrived.

There's been waaaaaay too many mentions of experience, levels, and efforts to level-up by the narrator, the MC, and Anastasia for me to accept that levels are merely cosmetic. Why is he so weak ? How is he getting two shot ? Why is his reaction after recovering from the first punch to go hug his girlfriend (if his levels don't give him something like strength/hp/constitution, Anastasia is much more powerful than him). Why is he turning his back to his assaillant ? How in a world with magic is it considered acceptable to merely restrain prisonners with just a rope on their wrists ? Why is he forgetting he has wind magic ? Why are these two idiots unarmed ? They're in a fucking war ! They're just out of a battlefield !

Also, why is Anastasia's fairy hair ornament not getting triggered when she's being attacked with a fucking chair ? Just because Allen was the intended target the ornament doesn't trigger ? Was that all it would have taken for the Est royalty to go through her protection ? Just put someone else in front of her and stab that one with a sword and the ornament doesn't react when the sword goes through then reaches her ?

What Ana should do, instead of screaming her fuckboi name in desperation, is use staff of vibrator she supposedly still held in her right hand and stab the back of the knee of meathead trying to kill Allen. The element of surprise of getting hit there, plus the pain it will dealt to meathead (back of the knee is usually protected and rarely getting hurt) will turn meathead attention from Allen to Ana, if she's lucky meathead will also drop the sword or even drop down entirely due to the pain. After that, she should call the rest of the guards outside and restrain meathead.

Apparently it is that hard... for you.

• Don't put all your prisoners in one cell.
• Do something to seriously disable them (break some bones, or at least leg irons).
• Don't interrogate them as a group.
• Don't turn your back on prisoners. Ever. (Even more true for Allen who isn't a melee fighter.)
• When you find a weapon on a prisoner, become even more cautious that the above. (E.g. withdraw from the room.)
• Before that, alarm bells should have rung as soon as you found prisoners moved from their original cell to a comfortable cell.
• And before that, given that Amy wasn't able to influence all the guards, then the other guards should have raised alarms at their comrades suddenly becoming Amy fanboys.

Granted mistakes can happen. People can fail to catch things that they should have caught. That's credible.

But failing this many obvious things at once isn't credible.

There's a saying "After the battle, everyone is a general". And all of the things you listed reek of it. You sure as hell didn't complain that they were all in one cell in previous chapter. Or that Amy has a weapon. Or that they didn't have any broken bones. You see you couldn't see what was about to happen any more then the characters in the story. But with hindsight it's easy to pretend to be smart
