I'm willing to let the plane go, since it's more or less just a glider that's powered by wind magic, but the guns are...less excusable for me.

They’re glorified blowguns. Rifling is probably the only advanced thing about them.

If you are an Otaku, you are way more obsessed than just having a simple "interest". Besides he doesnt need to make it work just as the original, since it works with wind magic, so it can have some narrative freedom for some bullshit magic.

No but it is plausible to assume he knows how a car works and in a fantasy setting, he could build something similar to a car +using magic he could fill some gaps with bullshit to Make something similar.

I dont think it is too insane to make this happen.
