I guess it kinda depends a few things - what the family was like before & after, what caused the divorce, etc. My dad was never really around much when I was a kid, so when he had an affair and my parents divorced when I was 9 it didn't really affect me much. Haven't seen him since either. If the family was super close I imagine it'd be different.

Yeah same, I was 7 but I remember it was great with them either competing for favourite parent or feeling guilty and constantly taking me out to the cinema or buying me all sorts of toys and games. Never felt bad about it but always wondered with how media portrays it if I was just really good at burrowing it down.
