Well... I give this to Dorel, the fact that only ONE bloodline can use a magical furnace really brings a lot of questions.

If I said I don't think the Hiden royal family has been manipulating things to stay in power... I would be lying.

More so when you stop to observe and think about how the "magic" we have seen humans do work, it depends on catalysts, maximizing the innate qualities of a certain material, a "magical" furnace being able to make special weapons imbued with different powers isn't far fetched with such system... but the fact that only one bloodline can use it seems a tad convenient.

One of the oldest tricks for political control is having a monopoly over a "solution" for a "necessity", in real life generally is control over food production and distribution, here... having super powerful beasts limiting territory acquisition that "can only" be killed by a weapon that "can only" be made by a specific family... yeah, it isn't a hard thought process.
