Chapters 110 and 111 are currently the only jp chapters on magcomi that are currently available for free, and as of now there aren't any plans from me to continue from here. I'm nowhere near confident enough in my Japanese to properly translate it, it was only upon seeing someone else do so and receiving their permission to typeset that I went ahead and uploaded it.Don't know why you randomly decided to pick this up, especially from chapter 110. I'm up to take with the official release, i.e. chapter 100.5, and you skipped 10 chapters beyond that too.
Sucks that these two only now are in the "don't hate" portion outside of cross dressing despite it being so long, how long is the author planning on dragging this?
Oh is that right. Assuming that you don't keep up with the original raws, the series is actually already in its final arc, so you can rest assured that this "drag" will most likely wrap up in a volume or two.
I disagree that this is the last arc, and certainly that it will end in a volume or two. The author seems have gotten stuck after the school festival arc (it probably was meant to end there), and has had to retcon their way into 3 volumes of content so far. They've gone on plenty of hiatuses as well, so its really hard to say what's going to happen.Chapters 110 and 111 are currently the only jp chapters on magcomi that are currently available for free, and as of now there aren't any plans from me to continue from here. Perhaps saying a volume or two was rather little, seeing as how the previous arcs have generally spanned about three or four, my apologies on that end. 🙇♂️ I only assumed as such based off of a note the author had released last year before a temporary hiatus they'd taken from the strain of working on the manga.I disagree that this is the last arc, and certainly that it will end in a volume or two. Evidence for this ranges from post vol-12 character development, and retcons in vol-14:
shizuku never met mei, despite knowing shuumei for his whole life, and mei being a frequent customer at their workplace.
nakamura still doesn't know about hana, despite it being something that should narratively come before shuumei, not after. They also introduced a new major character in the latest chapters, and retconned a pre-existing character into being another crossdresser, despite their cleavage being visible in Vol.2, so it seems they're floundering for new content / story threads, despite having a litany of well-developed and charming characters.
It's still one of my favorite manga, but its just frustrating seeing the story stretched out so far.
Oh, and more.Damn an update!? Appreciate it but wow to think it reached 110 chapters...
I don't see those as retcons, just wild coincidences.Perhaps saying a volume or two was rather little, seeing as how the previous arcs have generally spanned about three or four, my apologies on that end. 🙇♂️ I only assumed as such based off of a note the author had released last year before a temporary hiatus they'd taken from the strain of working on the manga.![]()
As for the retcons,
it did seem pretty out of nowhere to reveal Makoto being yet another crossdresser, but all in all story wise I personally thought it was a nice last push for Hana to quit avoiding Mei and deal with her problems head on again, seeing as how all the maids accepted Makoto as he is. For Shizuku and Mei, I'm guessing with all the Nakamura family focus, school festival prep and the fact Mei too had her good month or two avoiding Hana and the cafe after finding out about Jun's confession during the summer honestly I dont find it too unrealistic they never ran into each other.
All of these "retcons" are arguably just messy writing.I disagree that this is the last arc, and certainly that it will end in a volume or two. There are things one can wear to drastically change how any part of them looks, to varying degrees.
Have you had a conversation with everyone at your favourite restaurant?
The cavalcade of queerness in this never felt unrealistic. When I can out as trans nli realised how cishet people I knew. Two friends later came out to me on top of the first realisation.
Birds, feathers, etc.

Note I don't ultimately care about this example, it doesn't really impact the plot much at all, and could have been done a lot earlier in the writing.
I just think it evidences the theory that the story was planned to end in Vol 11, it got too popular (and thus couldn't end), so the author is stuck trying to write themselves out of the hole they (or their editor) got themselves into. I think up to Vol 14 its fine, but Vol 15 (and its associated hiatuses) make me really concerned.
