It does have an odd atmosphere at the end, feeling like a last chapter. This chapter covers the ending of Volume 2 of the LN, well except for the one part that wasn't included.

And now we enter into worst part of the story. Prologue and half of Volume 3 will be some what like this. That let me reevaluate 'Clingy Female' archetype in anime... in a worst way. Imagine any scenes of male 'pick up artist' trying to force girl with them, from now on i can't unseen that.
