Woah, that went better than I expected. Though I am a bit worried that they basically looked at a person and had to remember that they were told not to eat people... Once those guys are used as mercenaries in a war, and they decide to eat their enemies on the battlefield, people will be terrified when they show up.
We also got glimpses of how the little ones think and the vocabulary they use must have quadrupled this chapter. I wonder if some might start getting brain pops just from interacting with civilization. After all, it made sense that they never developed when they basically had little to no intelligent interaction in the highlands. Well I'm sure the little ones will still be around for a long time if not always.
They probably each need to get a crash course, individually or in a very small group so that they don't get too anxious, on how to behave in the city.
