This manga, insofar, has been a pleasant surprise. By all means, the potential is there for this to be utter trash, but equally so, there is potential for this to be a high-quality story. The author establishes in the first chapter that this is not a manga for the light-hearted, which it is not. The graphic content, though, actually has a purpose that serves the plot and establishes characters. Believe it or not, but characters actually have depth to them (shocking for a manga). I hope that the author doesn't fuck up and turn this into a dumpster fire or it gets axed. I wouldn't be surprised if either of those happen, but we will have to see.

I'm glad someone else commented on that. It was a small moment, but it was like a breath of fresh air. It's moments like that that make me believe the author is actually competent at writing, and the illustrator is in sync with the author's vision. Combining all that with how the current arc is concluding gives me really high hopes for this story's outlook.

Normally, for the latest raw you can just click on the “Official Raw” link in the series page.
For the translation group, unless unstated, you could just search for the group name and you should be there. Works for almost all series.

my poor saintess. im utterly HEARTBROKEN. but this is cinema, it feels bad from the perspective of i adore this character design but it makes sense story wise and emphasizes the reason behind his hatred, just when youre getting comfortable thinking "will the main character forgive past misdeeds now that hes surrounded by demons..?" also to the people crying you guys vote 10 stars on the most utter crap so you dont know what good story actually is

As someone who read the LN first, the artist made two chars into lolis? Also, he didnt know what happened to his childhood friend other than that she died and it was a bit of a point later on that made him wonder just exactly she experienced, so that scene in the first chapter wasn't necessary. Also, what she experienced was worse, but mentioned offhandedly from her perspective. There was no need for that shock value.

On another note, the story is very good so far up until the most recent official English LN Volume which is Volume 5 where the conflict within himself of being the demon prince and the human hero reaches a new peak. I highly recommend to check out the LNs of this particular manga.

Actually cancelled unfortunately. The author said it didn't sell well enough in one of the recent web novel chapters, possibly because of several off putting parts of the story
