The flow of time never seems right in manga and LN/WN. Similar to this scene (she's speaking and reacting to how quickly he slaughters his way through her army of puppets) they'll often have some kind of long-ish countdown (eg, 5 minutes) and then after saying just a few words in the briefest of conversations they end up being interrupted by the countdown running out. It's almost as if the characters are supposed to speaking Old Entish.

She said the more human like, the stronger it becomes. By reverse, if something is no longer humanlike, it is weak.
She didn't say human-like ones are stronger. Just "better" and it is not better due to anything special reason or whatnot 'cause it is just her PREFERRED targets to control. She's a goth trying to act like a princess and often use her dolls as manservants for superficial scenarios.
