  • new skill user
  • same family
  • skill looks useless
  • actually completely fucking broken
How did she not see this coming.

Caveat on the same family thing, it was mentioned that they aren't related by blood so the skill won't be a blood-related thing.

I believed, as of right now, the sister's can only use her power to search "food stuffs". But even then, "food stuffs" for her had a very broad context. So she is indeed as OP as her brother.

They need to stop being so down about the lvl 1 ability. They are on the way to a fairly packed dungeon and they have (most of) the mithril cooking set. Just get grinding and see what the level 2 ability is like. Sure you don't have a rich sponsor like Klaus did, but you also won't take years like him.

Its called ”quest marker” but since lil sis only think about foods so far its kinda meh.
But she should be like a literal quest giver like in a game and will mark the location for the people doing the quests she gave.
Sounds boring but its probably broken considering they arent in a game , just a world with game-like system
Kinda like Okuyasu. She is not that bright.

The sister only thinks it's good for cooking...

Needs to level her up a bit more to expand the search beyond food. Actually useful for pinpointing a monster's weak point.

Not just real/fake chests. She could pinpoint the location of every treasure item as soon as she enters a labyrinth and lead her time right to it. Or go beyond that and look for gold veins

heck, if it’s really broken. Identify the person who killed Bob in this town.

there was actually a mha vigilantes hero who had a similar quirk. Able to point in the direction of anything, even criminals that he hadn’t identified and he was laughed at as a lame hero but that remains one of the most broken quirks I’ve ever seen in a series.

still not sure how it’ll synergize with bro s skill yet unless he can input her data into his own
Wasn't that Compass Kid (Middle-aged man about to retire) that was killed because his quirk accurately pointed out the culprit of multiple disasters was right next to him?

Tierra is quite naive, that she had to get a proper demonstration to grab the obvious implications of how broken this skill is. The fact it will level up is one thing (and see how powerful the brother is now), but did she really thing it was limited to inside a plate, just because Liz used it like that?

three divine skills:
  • weak point
  • area search
  • satellite map

it would be funny when quest marker turns out covering all three.
That is exactly what was shown in the last panels... And why pantsu-elf was schocked out of her pantsu...

Sis' skill covers all three of the "divine skills". And then some when it levels probably..

YES! HIS QUIRK COULD FREAKING FIND AND IDENTIFY CRIMINALS! WHY WAS HE NOT WORKING FOR PUBLIC SAFETY!

To be fair to the denizens of this world, most skills appear to be immediately useful even at level one. And it's further implied they gave Claus a chance until he got the level 2 skill, which also appeared to be useless, before they derided him as worthless.

And for Liz, she did say it's currently beginner quest objectives. I haven't read the WN past this part but I'd bet she can't yet use it to locate rare items or enemies. She was a sheltered girl so she also probably just subscribed to the common thinking that skills scale quantitatively rather than qualitatively. She obviously doesn't have the context of knowledge about search skills.

"Which one of this strawberry tastes the sweetest?" is considered lame?

Try
"WHICH ONE OF THESE STONES HAD THE MITHRIL DROP IN IT" .

And that's what we call...
BROKEN. AS. FUCK.
