Honestly her skill is still extremely strong simply due to how specific it’s able to narrow things down such as taste. I wouldn’t be too surprised if once leveled up further and her getting more experience she could simply say point out the weak point on my opponent or something plus it can do so much more comply because it’s able to find things that are subjective and general.

It's funny how little imagination the people in this world have, yeah the skill is pretty basic at the beginning, but how many skills are actually busted right out of the gate. It's all about how you use your skills, like how even the MC's auto travel abilities proved to be quite useful once he gained enough confidence to travel outside of his usual haunts. Yeah sure he needed his auto-collect skill to gain that confidence, but even that skill seemed pretty bad until he realized the greater possibilities 🤔

Like imagine being able to know exactly which plants and fungi are edible in a survival situation or to be able to pick out herbs with healing properties (both of which should be much simpler than picking out the flavor of an object,) that's already a huge benefit for adventurers. It's only limited in application because of what she was choosing to focus on 🤔

At level 1, that skill might not be much, but after some levelling...

Going from the strawberries' example, she could easily locate any trap in any dungeon with the same method, or detect real treasures from fakes/mimics.
Not just real/fake chests. She could pinpoint the location of every treasure item as soon as she enters a labyrinth and lead her time right to it. Or go beyond that and look for gold veins

heck, if it’s really broken. Identify the person who killed Bob in this town.

there was actually a mha vigilantes hero who had a similar quirk. Able to point in the direction of anything, even criminals that he hadn’t identified and he was laughed at as a lame hero but that remains one of the most broken quirks I’ve ever seen in a series.

still not sure how it’ll synergize with bro s skill yet unless he can input her data into his own

If the Divine skills access the information from a Divine entity reigning in their world, that god must be stupidly strong if it can see a path which allows what is equivalent to a slightly stronger human (MC) beating a nation destroying dragon.

Yeah, the only reason the sister thinks its good for food is because she only really thinks about cooking and the like. Plus it's only level 1 and, apparently, can already show living things being tracked. This means that she could probably set the target for a certain enemy or person and it'll drop that marker right down on them unless it has to be a higher level for a specific person.

Put that with her "brother"'s auto-skill and they are busted.

One thing I don't understand...

Why is the Guild so interested in people's skills?

Are they trying to keep the best skill holders for themselves?

Or are they weaving of them send it would mean extra work for them...(which I understand since MC kept going to and collecting high-level drops without consideration to the Guild staff. Hell, I would have revoke his license a long time ago the first time he didn't listen!)

I see everyone talking about how broken her skill can be as it is, but consider the synergy with her brother's skill. He's always had a fat question mark on where exactly he'll end up when he activates his auto mode, so she can basically act as his eyes now. He no longer has to worry about randomly waking up in danger if he knows exactly where his targets are before pressing the button.

Its called ”quest marker” but since lil sis only think about foods so far its kinda meh.
But she should be like a literal quest giver like in a game and will mark the location for the people doing the quests she gave.
Sounds boring but its probably broken considering they arent in a game , just a world with game-like system
Her skill is definitely broken if she works at quest counter.... Since she knows all the exact spot of the items the quest taker needs to go

Well as long as it is used creatively, it can be OP even at level 1.
Technically, she can search the entire planet without breaking a sweat. As long as she associates something to 'food', she can pinpoint it. (it is still restrictive but this is just level 1).

Let's just remember that Claus's Auto at level 1 (which was auto return home) nullified any skill that is targetted against him; he was supposed to be killed by a "no-miss weapon" but his skill has divine priority over it so it did not work. And again, that was just level 1.
