You're not seeing the potential vision! If we end up having two cakes, this gives the author room to allow him and Urumin to eat the messed-up one together alone.

Well, now instead of a pre-made cake, Urumin will get to eat Kimiya's handmade cake.

Thoughts on dark horse Popochi helping fix the cake, or calling her parent to do it? If I remember correctly she was shown helping in the family cafe/restaurant so could go either way. Last chapter shows she has limits on kicking Urumin when she is down.Lock in some fake villian status. Maybe play it off as an apology to Kimiya.
