Whats the point of Jin and Vamola existing this arc? Does nothing just dance in the background without any lines. And blocking the gang from connecting the yield dots last chapter with forced cringe. Calling Dandadan weak is an understatement. Oh and there was that idol girl too everybody forgets doing nothing.

edit: More like the same effing arc every time. Introduce new kid, muh bad childhood, bad spirit tormenting people, pointless fights and then bad spirit becomes a digimon-familar at the end of the arc. I've rarely seen a more formulaic shit than this. Every 15 chapters I come back only to regret reading this. Took 160 chapters and how many years for Okarun to get his ball back after going through the repetitive filler arcs for the umpteenth time. Not even boruto was this bad. Just proves a little marketing and PR is enough to convince kids that crayon scribbles are masterpieces.

This arc started like 5 chapters ago, you're acting like it started 30 chapters ago. Give it time to actually develop into something, we're only just now getting conflict. Nobody forgot the idol girl either, she was literally an inportant character in the last arc. I swear, if things don't develop in one chapter yall get impatient and complain like it's the end of the world.

No doubt. I just wish their backstories were a bit more nuanced. He's going at it with a sledgehammer again - from adored piano genius to being hated by even your own family . Like cmon man, some subtlety? Maybe don't have all the dials cranked to 12?

To me the blackmail angle implies she's probably going to join the team. It's not yet clear why everyone seems to hate her, but if she really is that desperate to be back in the good graces of her family and peers it feels like a more conventional faustian temptation angle would make perfect sense, but it would also mean she's being villainous for her own sake. Being forced into it through blackmail puts the weight of antagonistic responsibility onto Germain or whoever is behind it instead.
