Looks like that shitty version of “Rentarõ Aijõ” joke I made about Gotou might just come into fruition. Attempting the monopolize his lovers through marriage based on his lust for them. Honestly feels like minus the bruised ego, he’s still the same slave to his lust from the summer arc.

I believe that because the foundation of all of his relationships is lust, the affection he feels for each of them all is hard-locked on the same level. Which is why he’s subconsciously incapable of committing to just one of them and falls so easily to their temptation. He couldn’t commit to one of em when he was confronted the first time by Inukai, and still can’t commit to one of them now. Attempting to move from one extreme of relationships and intimacy isn’t going to give him the answer he’s seeking.

This is either going to end up playing out with him ending up with everyone (Takeda embraces the fantasy at that point) or no one. I’m leaning towards the latter, with either everyone being turned off by his weightless confessions or the girls seeing the pain he’ll put Kiyomi through leading her on. Mirroring the pain Agawa put Gotou through early on, but without the honesty she gave him which is debatably worse. Only way I can see this playing out him having his moment with Agawa, her helping him pick up the pieces as she’d feel responsible for creating this cum-brained monster.

Hot take, but i dont really belive that he wants a harem, he really just wants agawa, but agawa told him to have other sex friends, in the summer arc when he goes full inukai gotou mentions that he is fixing the awful things that he did to akito and shina but also that this was agawas master plan and because of that he would be her favorite sex friend, aka. her boyfriend, However after tecnicaly doing everithing right agawa rejected him which leds him to spiral, add agawas "lesbian relationship" with erika and gotou esentialy has a broken heart and a broken mind on top of that.
If you look at chapter 98 shigemi asks point blank "didnt you like agawa" gotou responds that agawa doesnt like him just to correct himself an say everyone dosent like me, then he rants that everyone is just playing with his feelings, the thing is i think is implied that gotou really means agawa when he says everyone, she is the only one who has played with his feelings, my theory is that he externalized his love for agawa into every girl he has sex with, because he really just wanted to have sex with agawa, but in order to make her like him more he ended up doing this shit, eventualy thanks to agawa cucking him twice and everything that happend since the akito ark he became what he is now, this also explains why he cant commit to anyone, because they are not the girl he likes aka Agawa.

When it comes to his relationships they generally started normal, and even some of the early sex scenes could be explained, for example akito, gotou has always been protective of her, but because of agawas teasing they eventualy fuck but not after gotou rejected her, it wasnt until akito started cring that he agreed to have sex, the same situation happend in the summer arc, gotou in a weird way could reach the conclution that making akito his sex friend would be protecting her from people like inukai. I genualy belive that he likes Agawa and that he wants to be friends with the rest of the girls, my position is rather than the foundation of their relationship being lust, is more like his relationships were tainted by lust.

When it comes to the ending honestly idk, i can see takeda maybe wanting to make Agawa the winner but also make her a cuck queen and with that gotou can have sex with the other girls, if he ends up with no one i think i wont be the ending, if anything maybe gotou just gives up on romance and we go 180 now gotou is mister casual sex and agawa wants commitment lmao, but gotou eventualy falls for some one probably agawa.

When it comes to the girls reactions i that most of them seem to at least be aware that gotou isnt really in the best place mentally right now, even akito in this chapter kind of says it so honestly i dont think they will be turned off.

Now when it comes to agawa, agawa is aware at least partialy of the damage she has done to gotou, the thing is, her honest reaction is doing jack and shit, this whole downward spiral happend because agawa realized the damage she had done, and decided to aparently cut ties with gotou, although, it is somwhat implied in the chapter after shigemi confronts agawa that agawa has been keeping an eye on gotou and maybe wanted to do something with him in the cultural festival, but because of shigemis involvement the plan fell apart, there is also the things that shigemi says when she confronts agawa, the "i would have been pretty akward if you meet", and "its something he couldnt tell any one" when she dropped the ED bomb on agawa, why would shigemi clarify that to agawa?, its almost like shigemi is implying that agawa wanted gotou to meet her, but any ways, agawa ironicaly ended up making the same mistake that brought us here, what mistake, simple, not beeing sincere with anyone, let alone gotou about how she feels, because of that gotou is largely the way he is ,now she might feel bad about it but when it matters agawa does nothing, she had an oportunity to try and smooth thing over with him in the intervention but limited herself to say a snaky comment and thats it, hell in my interpretation of the chapter the reason why shigemi walks out of there is because agawa and maybe akito and shina were accepting that gotou was going to marry kiyomi, if agawa decides to take action is probably after she hits rock bottom, dont get me wrong she is getting there but jesus it took a while.
