@gladiatorua while that does make more sense plot wise and is probably the case in the web novel, they definitely didn't represent that in this manga. They show the priest girls eyes overlapping the dragons. That is so obviously implying sight rather than hearing. Idk maybe the artist and author and editor all just had a brain fart.

also sneaky fan service or why we see her in the shower?

also i assume amelias knows that the hero is a woman and just didnt realize that ares doesnt know this.
and i get ares point of view seeing the hero that only ones girls as a harem building playboy. most likely all other heroes before were like that. and thats why the kingdom wasnt so happy about it. a female hero makes gertting heroes blood way more difficult that a harem playboy
