This chapter covers content from vol 6 of the current 32 LN volumes which apparently is unrecognizable from the WN. So at the current pace, it will need at least 43 years to get to where the LN is currently at.
that, depending on how the manga-ga would do too, because the later chapter has a lot of off-story and multi-pov of the same event, for now I think not all of the off-story would be included and other pov would not be included that much, so I think it's not gonna be that long.

also the last time I compared the content of WN and LN, volume 30 of LN is around the early part of volume 15, so I think LN version would not be that long before completion. my prediction is that it would end around volume 40-45

oh he stole it? I didn't notice
Didn't notice at first either, but Satou caught it after the stupid prince threw it at him. He then killed all the demons and left without returning it.

It's not stealing, it's claiming.... With proof of ownership, given that MC very much is able to bring out the sword's true power due to his "True Hero" title.

Which he clearly showed to the Hero... Presumably to shut him up sharply, since his Persona does that kind of grandstanding.
(saves the author a lot of wrangling regarding MC's established character, and is actually reasonably well done here.)

What do you think the lead-in with the Founder Myth and all the fancy shiny swords surrounding him when he uses it were all about?

The Prince was nothing more than a convenient carrier. Despite his own opinion about it.

[…]to nail the coffin, Satou then speaks sarcastically when Hayato tries to recruit them that he would not be one of his harem.

Well, to avoid the nailing MC refuses to be the bottom. It's a pain in the bum anyway.

bro casually "forgot" to give back the sword to dumb prince...
Geriatric prince, you mean. I doubt he has much use for it now.
that, depending on how the manga-ga would do too,
Do you mean mangaka (as in the dude adapting the material to and drawing the manga)?

I believe that the leisuring journey is always the selling point of this novel/manga all along I mean Satou pretty much not too stress out in any kind of situation so far lmao, and that's what I love, not many manga/novels could cook up the culture and scenario of so many countries and blend it together with the fine concept like Death March

also the art of Death March mangas is so goat, and they have been making manga for Death March for more than 10 years now, I think whoever they are, they must love Death March as well lol and that's just volume 8 of WN, wouldn't it take another 10 years to finish the main story at volume 17? lmfao
Yeah, this is kind of the point; which can be difficult for readers who... have a more cynical outlook on life, let us say?

It makes a lot more sense to me to remember that Satou sees the majority of these people as utter douche-bags; he sees that life is cheap, and the rules favor the few over the many, and so he doesn't have much of an interest in helping people who think slavery is normal and cool, and they discriminate against others based on Supremacist ideals.

He helps regular people and those in immediate need, but... assisting a corrupt and racist system is a big No from him.

The story makes more sense, and becomes a much better read, when you see the MC through the lens of a person who is inherently Moral.
