Interesting that Crim was called Young Master despite what is happening to Crim in game and real life.

I also just realized that the scythe made an appearance on the first chapter in the quick scene/teaser on what will later happen in the story.
Im honestly curious to see what the raw said but i think the original might say waka sama which could then be translated as either young master or young mistress

I assume this quest won't fire until the item's owner has gotten rekt at least once. In a more realistic MMO without server-unique items, there could be a community of speedrunners intentionally dying to a level 1 enemy immediately after chargen then rushing through the questline without getting hit to get the upgrade. Hell, it might even end up an optimal newbie route after a few expansions.

It's not enough that she can already wield katanas that other players cant, but now a scythe too? That's silly.
Tbf Eurelia was called "The Red Lion Emperor" yet was a queen...so titles might not really mean too much.
Correct. Many Japanese noble titles are gender neutral. Sometimes the gender is uncertain at first before some line later in the story reveals the gender. I guess the translator / proofreader didn't go back to change it to empress.

So if that's Crim's mama this would count as peak nepotism, yes? If this adds onto the lore beyond the in-game lore I'd suspect that this grave and perhaps the game itself is a "memory" of whereever Crim's mom came from. It'd open up a theme of lineage and teaching Crim about her ancestry making the game more than just a game to her.

Blessed be the new chapter. Maybe it is because the other sites I read kinda have less commenters but I finally see people pointing out how obvious it is that the quest is related to Crim herself. The vampire and noble motif is plenty in here. I also kinda love how Crim is at least some wealthy rich girl(was boy) irl too - even without counting on her mom being some noble vampire - cause her dad is the guy in charge of this ultra expensive game, in which he is probably rich as well.

Aggghhhhhh cute! Love the vampire battle maniac tomboy so much, look at how crazy excited she is holding that scythe! So damn cute!

I also just realized how naked Crim feels without the cloak, that outfit is showing too much of her shoulders and armpits isn't it? Too lewd! But I want to see Crim's beautiful armpit on the cover again too!

Also I love the start of that meeting, the npc talked to her and then she just "?". Like "so you just stood there without listening to anything I said at all? Come here already". Such a cute dummy moment.

Afaik, 若様 (waka-sama) has male connotation and usually means young master. The equivalent female version, that is young mistress/young lady would have been called ojou-sama.

this is correct

the NPC refers to Crim using 幼き王 (young/immature monarch/ruler/lord)

Waka sama does usually have male connotation and is usually used with males yes but putting aside the tendency it is gender neutral and can be used for females as well. Not sure if I've ever heard of ojous-sama being translated as young mistress tho.

Then again the term used is not used in this case ^^;

And devs would never make the base item you need for the upgrade a rare Boss or Raid drop that is account-locked.
No sirree, they wouldn't think of that at all ......
