It’s hard to believe that half a year has passed since Shinichi shrunk. Though in the aquarium case Ran did say that not even a year has passed. Still that doesn’t explain some cases taking place a month later despite a lot of chapters between them.

@OsTB We do know that Conan is very prone to colds and Ai has been yawning a lot though. Up to this point we consider those things to be normal, but what if they are side-effects as well? Who knows?

By the way, the "2 companions" part seems to be a mistake from the author.

@OsTB In the few years in the past, this series would take a short break (typically a month) after a given case is closed.

1050 chapters / 183 days = 5.7 chapters per day, everyday.
Given that a case is typically 4 chapters long, and certain cases span a number of days, Conan encounters crime in just about everyday.
This does not include the anime-exclusive cases and the Special Version spin-off.
Pretty sure the police should have people following this crime magnet 24/7.
