Does marking a manga as "completed" allow me to see chapter's updates?

So basically I just came here and I was wondering, if I mark something as "completed" will I still see the updates? Because it annoys me to not have the "eye" near the chapter.
I know it's stupid af, but I can't help it.

@Memestrina The first page on your follows defaults to manga you've set to reading, you should set things to reading if you're currently reading it. Completed will auto-mark every chapter that gets released as already read. You can still see updates to those manga if you switch to the "All" or "Completed" tabs. We'll implement better ways to mass mark things with the eye in the near future.
