In light of recent "Doo Doo" storms, here is the poll no one asked for, like the alpha comments in non-H mangas.

What are you thoughts on intercourse? Of you have time please comment on your logic

Cause nobody knows if you a doggo on the internet and thus defenestration of morality is fine and you can show your true self.

Poll was made mainly to demonstrate what percentage of people think what, not just the loud ones.

Poll is set for 28days wondered if it will be locked though....?

I did find the comments strange, I’d typically expect to see those particular comments in a isekai series. Usually in a isekai series the MC will make it there life goal to have frequent sexual encounters with the opposite sex. In a sense polygamy as they will have multiple partners.

My personal views differ to say the least. I for one am in agreement that both parties should consent. Whereas if the matter were to involve my household, my previous statement would remain the same involving consent. But I would more than likely include option 1 due to religious reasons and include and addendum, but I don’t wish to delve into it here.

Many times these romance series delve into topics such as sex. We have to take into account that some characters are not ready mentally or emotionally. @Teddy going back to what you mentioned earlier these are non h series. Just like real life relationships are complicated. I don’t think adding (insert Greek Alphabet) a certain title to a character appropriately describes the MC. In addition I believe it doesn’t add to the overall story. That’s just my opinion.

Where's the "If she's in the clock then she's ready for the..." option?

Jokes aside, I would pick first and fourth option but I can only pick one - first because religion (Don't mind all the hentai in my MDList) and fourth for obvious reasons.

Edit: Oh my gosh when did I garnered 162 titles for H only...

As intercourse is the way for our oh so great civilization to continue living on, and as each of us human beings have the capacity to do so, I do think it’s natural for us to do it with a partner who we see each other fit to do it together, and dear lord my reply to this question feels like a textbook answer I’d give my teacher to a question.

I would say it depends on the setting. Is monogamy the clutural/religious norm or polygamy?

Let's say that i have some kind of mission and i will return to my world after completing it. How will my partner/partners be seen by society when i'm gone. Or i may not be able/want to return to my original world.

Depending on those setting my answer will vary between 2,3 or 4.

@Xzayer.
Yup its true that some isekais have Mc whose life goal is to have sex. However I was mainly referring to the vast majority (atleast in non H manga) of romance manga that do not isekai or otherwise.

However there are many farming and adventurer isekais that yes do have a love interest but do not want stay awake all the way til dawn. Let alone other real world (non isekai) romance manga that have complex relationships as you said and are mainly in highschool (not prepared probably).

My opinion is that Alpha and beta are just two extremes of a spectrum and both have their pros and cons but when you take both to the max, the cons will always outweigh the pro. (Absolutely obnoxious or full Loner) I do not however, understand why these people idolise alphas to the max.

Honestly was just annoyed at how many people expressed that sex was the only thing worth looking forward to even in fluff mangas.

@Dandan_the_Dandan
Take the door on the right, turn left and walk down the street until you reach a tunnel with light at the other end. (Don't actually, chances are its actually the headlights of a car)

@phaestos
TBH in what scenario would a teacher ask you that, after someone found you and someoneelse in a comprising position at school? No offence imtended but I doubt even the sex Ed teacher would throw such a straight ball.

@Lowsanity
What if it wasn't isekai?

Personally I’m in agreement with you. I don’t understand the reason, why some individuals view sex as the only thing to look forward to in some non h series. Thats including but not limited to wholesome, fluff, or romcom.

This is just speculation and a conjecture as I can be wrong about this matter entirely. But maybe some users here have self inserted themselves into the shoes of the MC. When given the choice, some might choose the option of sex because that’s what they might do themselves. As I said I could be wrong.

My other idea is that of a cultural standpoint. Within the west and I’m primarily talking about the United States, sex is promoted ‘essentially’ everywhere. There are drama’s, movies, literature and programming dedicated to promoting the sex is the utmost important thing whether in a relationship or not. That includes the typical high school drama series.

With a lot of those influences within media it promotes a idea that those who seek out sex are ‘alpha’ and should be admonished vs those who may be weak will and avoid sex. As I said before this just a opinion. I don’t understand why the reason why people glorify the ‘alpha’. But people are entitled to their opinion.

@Teddy "What if it wasn't isekai?" So, i live in this world/setting? I would still say that most of my concerns stay. It would just be more open to any relationship. If we are talking modern day setting then 4 if i'm not in any relationship and 3 if i'm in one.

Sex in a non-H series is not a requirement for me, but I'm fine if it does happen. It's more realistic for me since based on my experience and from people I've known, it's the norm to have sex before getting married, but I do see small rallies and stuff like that saying no to premarital sex, and it's usually coming from religious organizations. How true they are to their cause, only they would know.

On the subject of polygamy, it's legally, socially and religiously unacceptable here, but that doesn't mean I'm averse to the idea. The only reason I wouldn't do it is because it's not allowed, girls don't like it, and because I cannot financially support it.

I suppose that's why isekai harems are so popular and that's also why divorce rates are quite high too. Faithfulness is sorely lacking today.

after someone found you and someone else in a compromising position at school?
well~ it’s not like I found my best friend and a girl in such a situation at school one time~

and btw the origin of your question, what I said in my previous comment
and dear lord my reply to this question feels like a textbook answer I’d give my teacher to a question.
was more of a side comment to the way I expressed my reply to the question~

By the way, Teddy's necros specifically have something more to them. Their timestamps will help.

Also, pp time should be used sparingly (as in, don't wave your pp around in front of people all willy-nilly). No, your pp is not special, nor does it make you special (for either gender). But if you want your future partner to give special meaning to pp time, then you must do the same, fren. :pepehug:
