If it's going to end soon though, it is a shame, it feels like they were suggesting there was more to the time travel stuff than her simply praying and going back three years - it felt like there was more to be said than her simply being shocked by mc's death (like how she has obviously studied who he is as a person, which is why she was so shocked and elated to discover his writing hobby, as it was an aspect of him she didn't know about).
So I hope it doesn't end with him simply mending this relationship and saying he'll try harder.

You can't learn to be a "Lone Wolf" unless you know what it's like to be "Part of the Herd." It's not an exclusively learned experience. He's never been Part of the Herd, so he has no idea that the Lone Wolf isn't purely an exercise in exclusion - it's also about learning self-control and prioritizing his needs over others. If you back-read the chapters, he keeps saying "It's better this way, especially for the other person." That's not a Lone Wolf - that's a simp.

The Real Lone Wolf would be very opportunistic - Lone Wolves don't shiv a git about others - they prioritize their well-being over everyone else's - specifically because they can't rely on a Pack to help them out. The mindset is simple - What Do I get Out of It - and eff what anyone else gets out of it.

i do hope that everyone who's read this series this far realizes that the MC, such as he is, has been lying to himself the whole time. He lacks the courage to do what he claims to be. TL;DR - he's been hiding behind a label the whole time, and everyone BUT him recognizes that. Especially the girl he saved.

This is a common trope in Shoujo/Seinen manga - the inability to assertively and positively deal with personal failures. No one's ever successfully made friends 100 percent of the time, and friendship requires work and taking chances. That's the real problem with him. He's too afraid to take a chance, and he's let whatever failures he might have encountered before as a crutch to moving forward. Note that in none of the back-chapters do we see how and when he personally failed. Truth is, if you read it a couple of times - the reality is worse - he never tried. Failure is one thing, but not even trying is a worse fate. He's conflated his lack of Moral Fiber in tying up to this Lone Wolf excuse.

I'm going to guess that the translator is taking some liberties and using the word "lone wolf" so it's pretty unfair to the character to tell him to stop using a phrase that he's probably not even saying. I'd look at the raws to see what he's actually saying (cant find them though) but he's probably just saying something the lines of ほうっておいて which just means he's always been left alone/ignored by others, (so it's fine if she just leave him be).

So yea, I wouldn't really read too far into the "lone wolf" part when that's probably not what he said (unless that is really what the author wrote and meant and it's not just a translator doing translator things, then carry on)

But for that 1 win, the clearest and most basic win that 90% of the readers insisted that "no, it's not FMC forcing her own ideas onto FMC, it's just her wanting to help MC fits in" yeah, you can eat shits now.

But for that, what did we have to pay?
-Just a few pages above, FMC yelled at MC for "not caring about her and others' feeling" Oh wow, so you did care about MC's feeling when you were forcing your ideas on him all this time huh? Because if you had, you would've have already noticed how many fucking times MC made clear that he was fine with his life as it was and didn't want to change it.
-She can't believe that MC said she getting close to him will cause him trouble even though I'm pretty sure MC have already said that 2 times before already.
-You won't ask him to forgive you? Bruh, I'm not even bother explaining this, we have seen this line so many times before in many different storys and everytime, it's just as shit as the others.

But it's not like any of my points here and all of the previous one matter anyway. Cause after spending all of his time telling her to leave him alone, the mf can't even follow through on his words for even a second because "Oh no, I snapped at her and now she is sad, I'm regretting and feeling guilty now, better go over everything that has happened."

Let's us now turn our attention toward MC, I haven't talked much about him all this time his problems are just:
-I kinda like FMC, maybe just maybe, wait no, I'm just a loner, I'll never have the chance anyway, better not wanting something to happen. *he then wants smt to happen and it loops back to the start.
-Socialising is kinda fun, but I'll never fit in. *take part in socialising again and it loops back again.
This is basically his whole character, obviously there're more but it's just different numbers being in the same formula over and over.

I know as much as you guys how much of a loser and a bitch MC is, like, just in this chapter alone:
-MC said that he chose the wrong answer because there are actual people in the problem. But it's not, there is no such thing as a right or wrong in life, and especially not in interpersonal relationship, it's up to you to decide whether it was a good or bad choice, it's also up to you to hold on to the choice, so MC here decided that the choice was correct, but then as soon as he sees FMC sad face, it all collapsed. When he said he was an idiot, ok maybe he was, but not in this situation, it was because he was weak-willed.
-Also whether the choice is good or bad, it only applies to you, in this case, the other option would be to keep it all in and continue to go along with FMC, which to MC would be a bad choice, but to FMC, who clearly doesn't share the same thought process, might think it was a good choice. So it's up to you to choose, it's also up to you to face what comes with that decision.
-And the last line, yes, yes you can, you can just end everything there, but would you choose it, accept it, move on from it? No, you're weak-willed, you aren't able to choose the difficult choice, and you definitely not strong enough to maintain the choice and face what might come with it.

Problem is that while all of us know how shit MC is, 90% of you are incapable of realising (or refusing) the fact that FMC is also just as shit, both of them are shit, not as a character, a character's purpose is to attract attention no matter if it's the good or bad kind, and in that regard the author has done a fantastic job. They're however, just horse shit as a human being, basic reasoning, higher thinking level,..... they both don't have any, you wouldn't able to see a human who acts like that in the real world. What pissed me off though, is the fact that mostly MC is criticized for it, while FMC not just get away scot-free but get praised instead.

This manga is a brilliantly made trap, people who often thinks on the more simple, straight forward side are more "attracted" to MC, while those whose thinking process is more sophisticated and complex are "attracted" to both MC and FMC, and both types are desperate to see how everything will conclude (the uses of the word "attracted" here are in no way positive) The author made the characters so "good" that even though I know it pains me everytime I read this, I just can't stop.

I feel sorry for Nanamura & Hinamitsuji. It's true that Nanamura is just tired of trying to befriend people and understand them. But Hinamitsuji is right too. He really doesn't care that Hinamituji and the other girls are sacrificing so much to get him to befriend other people. He thinks he's helping them be rebuffing their efforts, but that's not true. He's just showing he doesn't care about them.
