That’s the bit I was talking about Enomoto using all these TV drama cliches and turning them around into something different. The trope would have him sulking and having an existential crisis, but here it’s just him busy with his life, whilst dealing with the problem as an adult.

Another good chapter. Ban not caring when her ex sees her bed hair in the morning but whenever Yuuki sees her like that, she hides face and that tells everything one needs to know about what she’s feeling. The ex isn’t even a threat, I hope the guy doesn’t have lingering feelings cause he’s in for a rude awakening.

But ofcourse, it’ll take a little time for Ban to connect the dots, unlike the audience. In the meanwhile, I see some more drama stirring up in the near future to shake these two further.

Ok yeah, this drama with the ex is nowhere near as bad as people were making it seem like it was gonna be. It was resolved in like 2 chapters. If that’s how all the drama is gonna be in this series, then I’m gonna love it. I love quickly resolved drama.
