OOF THIS CHAPTER HURTS

Like Laius is growing to be such a capable human but at what cost??? The weird monster lover human is now gone and have to accept parts of himself that he never liked and grow past that.
Like when he lovingly stroked Faryln hair and then without a hesitation just straight up asphyxiated her. He can't hesitate anymore because last time that happens, a lot of people got hurt. It's stupid character growth like this that makes this manga so good but I'm so sad because things are now like serious with real consequences

Theory: Winged Lion is freed and asks what Laius desires. Laius thinks for a bit and then says "nothing." He's saved Farlyn, he's had fun adventuring with his friends, he doesn't really want the responsibility of running a country, and his dream of turning into a monster isn't as cracked up as he made it out to be.

The lion asks him to reconsider. Laius thinks some more, and says... "I wanna find out how demon tastes like."

Cue epic final battle, then they eat it.

Isn't this a bit premature? They don't have a crowd available to eat Farlyn's huge butt yet.

Wouldn't a rear naked chokehold better in this situation? That part bugged me a lil bit

Awesome chapter!
But! Suffocation shouldn't have worked on Farlyn. Considering she has real anatomy and not just magical power to sustain her, this huge body must have giant lungs and small human mouth\nose is not enough to provide enough airflow, so she must have another way of breathing. Well, maybe she uses human lungs to support her brain and dragon body with giant lungs gets oxygen separately, in this case suffocation could work, but to leave such vulnerability means it's not very thought-through chimera design by Thistle.

Besides, in previous chapters we witnessed her physical power when she lifted enemies using one hand, so there is no way she was unable to break the LIaus lock. She could easily break his arms or even smash his head. As justification one can say she was really drunk and was unable to resist properly, though adrenaline should help in this case. Our adventures should have added some sleep grass into the carry and it would be much more plausible.
But well, it's not documentary anyway, so it's just nit-picking.
