Wow, another scanlation group having a sad.

The author has a new series up about an isekai'd chef teaching elves how to be foodies. And another one where a guy gets turned into a Magic the Gathering elfgirl. Or something.

With the DMCA situation, I'm glad to see that the chapters for this are still here.

I think this is one of the first isekai I ever read. And on top of that, probably one of the best! If you're someone who is tired of isekai tropes, this is pretty void of them at least in the stereotypical sense. It's maybe not a parody, but 100% a comedy. It also is a pretty quick read, and despite the rushed ending doesn't leave you with many questions. I wouldn't say it's the funniest I've ever seen some maybe 7 (damn) years later, but unlike the average isekai that attempts to stuff in some comedy or is intended to be funny but forces in some badass moments, this one has the benefit of never, ever needing to take itself that seriously. There is no tension in this manga; it's not a "slice of life", but it's relaxing in a way that they can fail to be. I don't think I can really evaluate this on too critical of a level because it genuinely has very little to criticize outside of "I guess it could have done this a bit better" and "It sucks that this was axed". I'll give it a baby goblin/10.
