He's very much mentally distancing himself since he obviously feels zero personal responsibility for things he didn't do. That's why he can keep going. He's indignant, like an innocent man sent to jail based on false accusations. Such a person won't ever give up, unless beaten completely broken (at that point, it would hardly matter, anyway). Other than that, he probably doesn't want anyone to think he's crazy, trying to flee his responsibility by coming up with otherworldly excuses. Furthermore, would his situation change for the better even if he started talking about it? He has zero guarantees of that. Lots of people hate his face, and they aren't necessarily interested in anything he might say, especially if it freed him from his responsibility for the character's past ill deeds. Who would all those people hold responsible after that? The world is not so simple.

I'm not 100% sure, but looks like they were talking about "noblesse oblige", which was a French feudal concept of "the unwritten obligation of people from a noble ancestry to act honorably and generously to others."

So we can assume that this world is still very feudal. In which case, the Peasants would give some of their harvest in exchange for living on the Nobles' land and for their protection. Meanwhile, the Nobles are given and guaranteed land by the Monarch in exchange for fighting wars.

Sheria = Gilberts Granddaughter. Current head maid for Leolde but later joins Sieg's harem
Issable(?) = Princess Sylvia's maid. Replace Sheria as head maid + spy for Sylvia. Marries Barbarot later in the story
Leolde = our main MC, gets slim later on~
Sylvia = 4th princess of the Kingdom, A sadist and Leolde's fiancee later in the story (She works hard to win his love)

The question I always have in these series is:

What did MC do to deserve such a fate? His original life he was always dicked around and then he gets isekai'd into a real shitty situation that could lead to his death at any point, it can't be for piggy redemption cause that would make no sense since it aint piggy that does the redemption stuff.

It's why series like this always baffle me, like if your gonna do this make the MC someone that was an asshole irl or whatever, making them a victim in the normal world then sendt to their essential deaths in another world just comes off extra evil to the MC. I get they are going for "MC will defy the odds with an unlikable person and become something important" but that's retarded when someone down trodden gets put in an even worse situation.
