Almost certainly would have killed her before she had a chance to explain her tragic backstory, unless one of the knights was a pervert who thought it'd be worth the risk to try grooming a loli succubus.A part of me wonders if the knights would have raised her or ended up killing her if they found out what she was.
No way, I don't agree. Poor succubus, it is not her fault that her race is like that. The whole attempt at a tragic backstory doesn't really work when you come from a race of demons that has a basement of corpses... Just mount her head on the wall and be done with it.
You didn't read the part where it's explained that if they dont hunt they are the one who will be hunted? The whole attempt at a tragic backstory doesn't really work when you come from a race of demons that has a basement of corpses... Just mount her head on the wall and be done with it.
They quite obviously enjoy hunting humans, hence the basement full of corpses. Look at how the succubus changed her personality when she thought she was in control. The persecution angle is just the author attempting to make you feel bad for them. It's your go-to cheap attempt at an emotional backstory, it's pretty boilerplate. Personally I'm sick of authors trying to make every demon out there have some tragic backstory that's supposed to absolve them of the whole "My hobbies are killing humans, eating humans, and killing humans" aspect. Thanks for the translation.

Quite easy to say that someone is evil when the other forced them to become monster.
