Leila: Betrays the saint for the greater good so more people won't get hurt.
Also Leila in the coming chapters: "NO DON'T DO THIS! DON'T END YOURSELF FOR THE GREATER GOOD SO PEOPLE WON'T GET HURT!"

I hate her.

It's easy to forgive someone if he didn't do anything you wouldn't do yourself, and you can just do whatever you want against him if you want. She's just in the world, not really a part of it.

Though this is a comedy series not to be taken too seriously, but, nevertheless, considering Elrise is running out of lifespan, it's easy for her to forgive people, especially when she can understand why they did what they did.

Exactly. Wasn't her original character NOT supposed to last long anyway? The character is on borrowed time according to fate. Might as well make the most of it.

Uhh, no? Pretty sure the whole greater good was just an excuse to Leila for her actual wish: For Elrise to survive.
She has to realize that it's kind of folly, ESPECIALLY after the news of the Saint's imprisonment went public. People found out about it, and the witch would have attacked after finding out too, and did. They mishandled this absolutely poorly. They're making stupid decisions. If Leila was to keep Elrise locked up, what was the plan after the witch found out? Really?

She is incapable of putting forth any thought other than her immediate present. I despise her. Elrise would have had to come out anyway, since right now she's the most capable one, otherwise they'd have to live with losing people.

It's just... I can't stand it.

A superior monster, not THE witch, attacked. There's a crucial difference between them you seem to be forgetting.

Literally just last chapter:

Like how you seem incapable of recalling any story details besides the current chapter?
I heard some people hate looking at themselves in the mirror. Is that why?

No, not at all. MC's short lifespan is 90% due to their actions.

While Elrise's constitution is unusually geared towards high magical power, that one came at a risk to one's sanity, not lifespan, which MC's innate unseriousness nullified anyway.

Absorbing the dark magic is hella bad for the body, and that was entirely the MC's choice in order to be able to efficiently kill demons and be able to sacrifice their life to kill the witch.

can't wait when she drop the bomb to everyone about her lifespan that only last for around 2 years left after killing the witch

not two years, she did not even have a year left, she will die 365 days after Vernel's enrollment, and her bomb is pretty much huge because she will reveal it after she kills Alexia and is about to die because of the witch's power transfer from Alexia to her

Though this is a comedy series not to be taken too seriously, but, nevertheless, considering Elrise is running out of lifespan, it's easy for her to forgive people, especially when she can understand why they did what they did.

in the novel, she said (in her head) that the people in the capital do not relate to this incident, and she will welcome King Aiz's betrayal again and again so she can be NEET once in a while lmao
must remember that our MC is an idiot who only thinks of everything that happened as a game and her heart is black to the point of making her unaffected by mana circulation's side effect lol

that is not what he means
after the news of the Saint's imprisonment went public. People found out about it, and the witch would have attacked after finding out too
it doesn't mean the current attack of the superior monster, it refers to the future monster attack after the leak of Elrise's imprisonment

Uhh, no? Pretty sure the whole greater good was just an excuse to Leila for her actual wish: For Elrise to survive.
actually it's both, Leila decides to betray Elrise so Elrise would live on is true, and about the greater good is also true, because she is aware of the fact that the saint who defeated the witch will become the next witch, and if Elrise who has immense power were to become the witch, no other saints would be able to defeat her, and the world will be sent straight to ruin, all the knights think the same which lead them to betray Elrise, since at the time they didn't know that Elrise is not a saint lol

Why is it that you guys keep thinking the witch is some super malicious mastermind type who's just waiting for the chance to pounce when the series have said she's an extreme coward that would run away just merely sensing Elrise's presence in the area?
(or that she had a route with Vernel before Elrise showed up, meaning it was possible to build up relationship with her)

And even if it's another monster attack, so what? The only one they can't let Elrise kill is the witch, she's free to go murderhobo on any other monsters (why do you think they let her go defend the capital here?)
