Well i guess it's because status quo doesn't change much. The only noteworthy things in this chapter imo are: the "erosion" is halted if you slain the giants, and those giants are very fast in adapting. The world is not beyond saving!(edited)

Personally i don't mind though. At least we got a chapter!😎
