I dislike how they changed the more grey morals from the game into bad guys are bad, good are good. I mean, the blame for how Elusia escalated the conflict always lied with Brodia for repeatedly attacking them trying to expand territory. Now saying the brother of Morion being killed by them feels like an attempt to justify their attacks, even though he was probably killed in a war of aggression.

In the game, Diamant acknowledges that fact and even tries ro make amends to Ivy. Here, Elusia are the sole bad guys without any reason to invite the four hounds beside power hunger.

This chapter was a pretty interesting interpretation of chapter 10 in-game. A few observations:

* Makes sense that Leif is given to Alcryst. I actually never used Alcryst in my playthroughs and I forgot who I gave Leif to at this point (maybe either Diamant or Lapis but can't remember RIP 🥲).

* We got to see Quadruple Hit and used on Corrupted Morion no less. That was neat.

* Marth telling Alear to dodge Astra Storm was kinda funny considering you cannot evade Engage Attacks in-game 😆

* Micaiah!Yunaka vs. Byleth!Hortensia is a...match up. I'm guessing this is only done since Micaiah is the only one who hasn't done anything yet. Nothing wrong here I just think this match up in-game would probably have Yunaka just straight-up die.

* Hyacinth gets chowed down as expected. Although it's slightly more graphic here than in-game. We actually see his severed hand here (with the Lyn ring 💍 still on it).

Well, beside Alear, anyone in my roster was able to take a hit against hortensia at least, if not win the 1v1 straight up due to her having horrible physical offenses. She would have killed my Alear though via effective damage

EDIT: I misremembered. On my second madenning playthrough, Im actually at ch 10, and she has per default elfire. I just never realized cos normally she just freezes people and gets killed playerphase. This time I got screwed because of it lol.
