I notice the counter for 'views' on threads seems to have stopped registering anything that's not a response at some point in August.

This thread was posted on Aug 11 (by my local date/time), and has 65 replies and 137 views showing in its post listing in my 'threads with your posts' list.

This thread was posted on Aug 12, and shows 25 replies and 26 views. It appears all threads posted on or after Aug 12 have a similar 'n, n+1' correlation between replies and views.

Related to this, I think Forum Statistics aren't updating since 12th August as well

but there have been lots of users that have joined since than
I'm too curious about that, since I was just about a month old inside the forums [since October]. How can that account being the latest joined member while we had so many new users here. Is the counting just stop or something? 🤔🤔

Turns out we decided to disable the views count update system because it was causing major issues with other systems of the forum software. So view counts will be stalled until further notice.
Yikes - okay. Thanks!

It's a good thing the frontend and the forum have literally nothing in common when it comes to handling views, then. Don't try and force connections when you don't know how the site works.
I wasn't trying to force anything, I just think that the site devs might not want to add view counts if another view count feature somewhere else isn't working, which is why I said "bode well".
