Compared to other revenge manga I've ever read, this one is pretty much the most solid one. I'm kind of bored with a story that tells about revenge, yet he'd later only say "don't let me see you again" or "rot in jail" while he actually escaped later and looking some troubles with the MC again and again. It's also not a manga that MC would turn softer against women (like they would forgive them when it's woman who did it).

Raoul isn't like that. Raoul would do the revenge just like how it should be. Is it too much? Considering what he experienced, I think it's somehow acceptable.

The flow of the story is good and it's also well drawn. Anyway, if you want a story about revenge that served well, I guess this manga would satisfy you.


*The only downside is... it's not a weekly manga.

To be honest seeing that village getting killed after they killed the two girls is kinda satisfying but I'm just lost as to what direction this is gonna take after. It's been pretty annoying though with the mega slow releases.

I’ll be honest: this is 10/10, well-done, high-quality, unique, and clever, with EVERY single revenge arc. The problem is there’s no build-up. If these revenges came at the end of some other series, they would be satisfying. If we went through the pain the MC did through a 100-chapter-long prologue, this would be amazingly satisfying. There’s just no build-up to the revenge. Even if I wish these excellent revenges were done in other series I read, this is a series full of revenge and it gets... a little cold-hearted and emotionally boring. I make do by imagining this guy is Naofumi from Shield Hero.
