i was too young to understand what was going on at the time*
but also because of this i dont really feel too bad about the whole situation . its more just like "oh, that happened" type thing

*edit: i also didnt know her name so yeah
and they were a chav too [ew shtinky]
Ah.. Shit. It's her? Omg now I'm more furious!!! Arghhh!
Ummm sorry I am THIS furious bcs I've experienced something like that too, eh I mean, I've got r4ped by one of my ex-band member, it was a long long time ago, I've been healed too. But the trauma maybe left a little scar in my behavior, and made me didn't like to be touch without my consent even by my bf (former).

I looked up the definition of chav and it's literally the same garbage we have in here, well, quite, the difference is that they usually carry knives and their father or grandparent may have a hunting shotgun, so it's not a good idea to punch them.
I punched some punks who try to touch my girlies at my high school era and got dragged to police station and my uncle picked me up there and said to one of his subordinate, "there's nothing happened here".

The problem here is that, if you fetch them off by beating them, they will gang up and make a colander out of you because they feel humillated, and if that fails too then you'll hear gunshots before beating the ground (and yes, I'm talking about middle/high schoolers).

We don't have that issue here, in large part because if some high school shit tried something, there's a decent chance the adult they were fucking with would actually know how to aim when they returned fire. (I'll leave the question about whether this makes the situation better or worse alone.)

I do know gun violence is a big thing in the US and the citizens have 393 millions firearms (For fuck sake, that's multiple times the number of people in UK), but is gun violence is a daily occurence and do you guys kust have accepted it as just as it is like "Oh, that just happens"?

I live in a metro area of something like 3/4 million in a pretty gun-friendly state. We probably have something like two dozen gun homicides each year across all the municipalities, and probably a couple times that in shootings that don't result in death, so maybe one incident a week on average? Given that the overwhelming majority of those are targeted - where the shooter knows the victim - rather than being random, it doesn't keep me up at night. Nor does the prospect of a mass shooting - those are actually comparatively rare (similar to how plane crashes result in a lot fewer deaths than car crashes, but you hear about the plane crashes in the news and not usually the car crashes).

What doesn't get talked about much, but should, is how for every year since either 1976 or 1977 (I'd have to check), the majority of gun deaths in the US have been suicides rather than homicides. To me, this is a much more concerning statistic.

Back to something kind of OT for the thread - the first night I slept in the place I live now, it was nice and I had the windows open. About 11:15, I woke up to what I thought was someone setting off fireworks down the street. Found out the next morning it was a guy getting carjacked and shot about three blocks down. Good times. :haa: :aquadrink:

Even after reading all that I still came to the conclusion that Americans are generally quite prone to picking up guns, let it be for intimation, homicide, self defence or suicide. You lot are scary, man.

Yet y'all are stuck at Burger and Peanut Butter Jelly Sandwiches.

The saying "shoot first, ask later" is definitely not only for show.

Gun is not problem, the permit is the problem

Gangster without permit own gun everywhere. Gun store need more regulations, but they don't care so long they sell

Not sure if they qualify as "fun", but....

I'm not sure what colour my eyes actually are.
My left leg is the only limb I haven't broken.

Again... What the fuck

Why this shit is common?!!

Men.... I feel sorry now for you both.
It's not a common case bro, it's just unlucky me, but I'm healed tho it was a very long long time ago. I'm alright now. He'd even tried to date me but I refused, even until 3 days before his wed ceremony (with his gf) he ask me for serious relationship, well haha if I don't have any feeling I won't just date anybody. I'm loyalist to myself, I love myself more than anyone. 🤭🤭
