It's so bad author introduced rape as a plot device. The premise is about high school romcom and cleaning, not even drama. So this rape totally caught readers by surprise.

Everyone will tell you to avoid it like the plague rightfully so. If you can stomach rape being used as a plot device for very stupid reasons, it's a fever dream. It's one of those going down in flames moments.

And then the mangaka LOST HIS SH*T, He suddenly become crazy, Tilted, throwing tantrum, and Boycotting his own story
He made Massive SUB-CHAPTER Starting at chapter 8 (we called this ENDLESS EIGHT like Haruhi )
Example 8.1, 8.2 to 8.9, and then 8.91, 8.92, 8.911, 8.912, and so on)
The Final Punchline At Chapter 8.999 and chapter 9 the MC become SUPERHERO, THE CLEANERMAN

This is what I don't understand. The guy lost his marbles at being cancelled, but if I remember right this started in the same time frame as My Dress Up Darling, which was the manga who started in earnest the gyaru trope and now every romantic comedy has a gyaru or the fmc is one.

Instead of remaining cool and try again, maybe restart publishing of this one later, he just got mad like a toddler and burned all bridges with publishers. I want to know what happened and what the guy is doing now, I'm very curious.
