But in all seriousness, while there's an argument to be made for changing your image to be more appealing in general, trying to match your appearance to someone's taste (in anime girls of all things) is not the right move if your personality doesn't match. Not a fan of this development. Rivals are okay if the pacing of the story enables one to be squeezed in, but I really don't like her or her approach (unlike some of the "I can fix her" weirdos on here). Last chapter made it clear that she doesn't really care about his feelings, so I hope dude keeps facing the right direction (as in, not class prez).
