I think it would be good if the translators, who I get the impression do not speak English as their first language, were to run their translation through a grammar checker or something. There are quite a few places where it's a bit jarring--connective words left out, verbs wrong and so forth.

Also, what I don't get is what happened during the school year in this flashback: if the year (seemingly) went on without a problem, why the "classmate reunion" under Reika? Why trying to make the blond MC something like...like a pariah, if on the surface they don't do anything against her?

Somehow it seems the series jumped a few hurdles to get into this point. I think that the two MCs should've had a bit more bonding time for this drama to make sense. Almost feels as if the author has a set amount of chapters to tell the story, so they skipped important fluff, which is vital for romance especially.

Nah I think the author has been painting her as a pretty toxic person since the beginning but we've gotten no explanation yet, if there is even one

The most charitable explanation is that she felt pressured to go along with the badmouthing and has been terrified ever since of it being revealed by the class rep.

Which still isn't great. But is more 'fear driving unreasonable behavior' and less 'just sort of pointlessly evil'.

Yeah, this isn't yuri at all and it's not romance. Both tags should be dropped. The series is done at chapter 17, so it's not an unknown. It's definitely bait, as there isn't any romance here, and it's definitely not gay. Even the Japanese comments recognized the teasing earlier chapters did, whether they liked it or didn't.
