fun fact: the reason why their is a mainstream and story formulas as well as deep-dive hobby otakus (in the negative connotation) is because it's familiar. we like thinking that we know/understand a pattern. it's less stressful, trying new things can cause anxiety. it's like existential crisis but not in this situation
also speculation about the ending. I think it'll be open-ended because it's a popular conclusion. if this series is going to finish soon, I don't think they reveal it to their co-workers about their realized relationship, it'll just be like any other day at the cafe minus the ambiguous romantic tension
