My copy of Star Wars the clone wars / Tetris Worlds for the original XBox cannot be read anymore, I'm very sad because Tetris Worlds was an interesting game with cool backgrounds, I didn't enjoyed it as much as I should have.
Edit: Turns out it does work, but only the star wars parrt of the disc, when I try to activate Tetris, it glitches or something

ahh I love ruining a good match. context. We fought a total of 7 times 3w for me 1w for him and 3 draws after realizing that his combat form revolved around counters and abilities I decided to change things up. I switched from a lightsaber hero to Papa Palps denying him his sole advantage over me (his counters). As you can see he got fucked and promptly left feeling salty af (no messages but I could sense it).

Was thinking about getting back into Destiny since a new expansion was recently released (haven't played in a few months), but it looks like Bungie unsurprisingly shidded and farded in the bed again. Maybe I'll get it if it goes on sale sometime.

I tried to play Destiny 2 earlier this year, made my totally-not-stolen Tanya warlock character and it was fun, until I realized it felt grindier than Warframe somehow, then I quickly got bored and uninstalled it.

r/destiny2 shows me that they pretty much fail every time they try to "fix" anything. When the Taken King expansion came to D1, it removed access to like half of the game, that's when I knew things were going to be bad you had "worse" weapons that were stronger than purple rarity weapons (e.g. A blue rocket launcher was better in almost every way to my purple LMG), I think the crucible became unplayable, some weird shit. In D2, I don't know what it is but the game feels aimless, I thought I was doing story misions my first 4 hours only to realize I was doing sidequests the whole time, also, limited shaders was to me a very inconvenient problem, I hate that system.
Bungie used to be cool, now not so much.

Yeah, the subreddit is never happy for more than a week pretty much. And I've ofc considered that it could just be that subreddit that has the problem, but over the years I've come to the conclusion that it's just Bungo's consistently lackluster approach to managing the game. The fact that the Steam reviews are mixed says a lot as well.
It's a shame, since the game's core mechanics are actually really fun and well done. Moving, shooting, and using abilities have always felt really solid. The lore is also super interesting, but pretty much all of it was only available out-of-game (like on the companion app) for the longest time.
It just could really use a season of quality of life changes and a revamping of the core gameplay loops.

I played Destiny 2 for about 45 hours when I had access to a pc that could run it (only had a cheap laptop for about 10 years now) and enjoyed my time immensely. It hits an interesting intersection of fps and rpg that I enjoy. Helps that the shooting feels way better than most FPS I've played. For reference, my experience with FPS has mostly stalled at about 2015 so I'm not familiar with what's new and what's old hat by now. Most of the FPS I've played have poor shooting mechanics (bioshock, borderlands) or design their mechanics to mimic older games (day of infamy).
Here's a rant: Some of the missions on CoH2 are bonkers hard and nigh impossible without using strategies that exploit the AI.
In other news, I've been playing various demos on the switch. Played Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and Ori and the Blind Forest demos recently. Both seem to be very fun games. Ori is high on my wishlist after I build a pc. Love a good metroidvania. Age of Calamity made me want to continue Breath of the Wild with how they use iconic locations in BotW as battlegrounds in Age of Calamity. Next demo is that new dragon quest game. I think it's like a 10 hour demo so that'll be interesting.
